PUBLIC ART SCULPTURE PROSPECTUS

By submission of entries, the artist accepts all conditions set forth in this prospectus.
•Applicant must be a US resident, age 18 and up.
•Entries must be original works completed in the last 2 years.
•Limit to 2 entries per artist.
•Entries must be ready for exhibition at installation. Artist may provide custom display equipment or special lighting.
•Sponsor reserves the right to reject any entry that does not meet the terms and regulations or is inappropriate for public exhibition. Work must be suitable for outdoor installation in a public city park, including be of sound, safe construction capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions (high winds, below freezing temperatures), not fabricated or finished with hazardous materials, be maintenance free, be appropriate for an active pedestrian environment, and take into consideration the safety of the audience. The sculpture must be secured to a concrete pad or pedestal with anchor bolts or anchored into the ground with steel stakes, unless otherwise approved or pre-arranged. Those specifications will be detailed in the Participation Contract.
•A 35% commission will be charged on all sales resulting from the exhibit. Artists will be notified by phone and mailed documentation. Work must remain on site for the duration of the exhibit.
•Sponsor reserves the right to use images of work and/or entire exhibition for publicity.
•The sponsor provides up to $5,000 insurance coverage per sculpture during the exhibition, excluding submissions in ceramic, glass, and other fragile sculpture materials, and damage resulting from faulty construction or materials.
•Additional marketing and promotion options available for accepted sculptors.
•Accepted artists will receive a $1,000 honorarium check to assist with transportation, installation, de-instillation, and incidental expenses.
•DELIVERY OF ENTRIES: A mutually agreed schedule date and time of installation, with directions and instructions, will be contracted. Artist is responsible for all aspects of delivery, installation, and de-installation. Upon request, the sponsor will provide limited manpower and equipment. Entries may be shipped by ground carrier
•RETURN OF ENTRIES: April, 2016. Artist must schedule a date and time of de-installation with sponsor. No early pickups. Not responsible for unclaimed entries.
•List proposed method of installation, and any equipment or personnel required.
The receipt of an entry in the juried exhibition will constitute agreement by the artist with all conditions set forth in this prospectus.
