Discover the joy of working with clay in this hands-on, step-by-step workshop. Over six weeks, you’ll learn how to prepare and center clay on the wheel, shape simple forms, and refine your pieces with trimming, handles, and decorative techniques. In the final sessions, you’ll explore glazing and finish with a group critique to celebrate everyone’s work. Your completed pottery will be ready for pickup about three weeks after the final class.

Art Collective is a monthly creative meetup designed to bring artists and art-minded individuals together in a shared space of creativity, connection, and community. Offered once a month, this gathering invites participants to slow down, create alongside others, and build meaningful connections through art.
Each session explores a new creative theme, using primarily mixed media techniques that encourage experimentation and personal expression. Participants will have access to a wide variety of materials from our collection of found objects and recycled supplies, supporting both creative exploration and sustainable artmaking.
Community members are encouraged to bring sentimental objects, photographs, or personal materials they would like to incorporate into their artwork, allowing stories, memories, and individual perspectives to become part of the creative process.
No experience is required—only a desire to create, share space with others, and be part of a welcoming creative community.
Create together. Share ideas. Build community through art.

DESIGN FOR SUCCESS
Superb DESIGN is essential in making art that excels.
An unremarkable painting can be elevated into one
that is powerful and engaging … with the application of
strategic, thoughtful, and dynamic DESIGN. During
this workshop, we will focus on designing superior
paintings. We will learn the all-important concepts of
design and how to integrate them into our paintings …
to take our paintings to that next level. We’ll explore
a variety of subjects together and see how we can turn
them into exciting, emotional, fascinating, and unique
works of art – with the right combination of creative
design … solid drawing, effective painting techniques,
and imagination.
