YOUTH & TEeN CLASSES

ArtStudio at ArtCenter

After School Art Studio is a small group art studio that meets once per week from September through April with trained, professional artists and culminates with an exhibit of the students’ work and an opening celebration. After School Art Studio offers 2-D and 3-D classes for children and teens ages 5 – 16. It consists of class projects, group projects, and free independent work times the develop basic art skills using a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, fibers, collage, pottery hand building and wheel throwing, sculpture, etc. Instructors will present structured age-appropriate projects that will encourage both critical and visual thinking and will encourage students to expand on the projects with their own creative process and choices. After School Art Studio is a fun and collaborative after school art adventure for kids of all ability and experience levels that want to learn and make art. It does NOT require any prior art training, just a love of making art and a desire to learn more!
