2025 Fall Teen Workshops
Drawing Skills Intensive for Teens
Saturday, September 20, 2025
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Cost: $50 non-members/ $45 members

This 3-hour, hands-on workshop invites teen artists to expand and refine their drawing skills using classic materials such as charcoal and graphite. Through guided exercises, participants will strengthen their understanding of value, shading, proportion, and composition while also exploring expressive mark-making techniques.
In addition to building core artistic foundations, students will gain practical tips for preparing portfolio-ready artwork to support applications, scholarships, and competitions. Whether you’re looking to sharpen technical skills or grow more confident in your artistic voice, this workshop provides both creative exploration and real-world guidance for your future goals.

Acrylic Painting Intensive for Teens

Comic Creation for Teens

Calling all aspiring comic creators! If you’re a teen artist looking to refine your line and ink drawing skills, this 3-hour Comic Creation Workshop is for you. Through guided exercises, you’ll practice key techniques to boost your control, style, and confidence with pen and ink, while building a solid foundation in visual storytelling.
Bring your own sketches, drawings, or comic ideas to the workshop—we’ll spend time reviewing your work, answering questions, and helping you bring your characters and stories to life. Whether you’re just starting your comic journey or you’re already filling sketchbooks with ideas, this workshop offers practical tools to strengthen your craft and develop your unique artistic style.

I am a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Art Education. I have attended the Joe Kubert School of Design for graphic arts. I currently teach Art at TL Hanna and have taught in Anderson school district for 24 years including Westside High School.
