TISSUE ART CONTEST
Call for Entry: Creative Challenge for Student Artists
This fall, the Anderson Arts Center is thrilled to partner with First Quality to present the 7th Annual Tissue Art Contest, on display in our galleries this November and December.
Open to public, private, and homeschool students in the area, this creative challenge dares young artists to “think outside the box” by crafting original works using tissue and paper towel products—an unconventional medium generously provided by First Quality. Students will compete in various categories for a chance to win one of nine cash prizes, including a special People’s Choice Award. Middle and high school artists may enter in three categories: 3D, Panda Brand, and Wearable. Elementary students may participate in the 3D or Panda Brand categories. The Panda Brand category must feature the likeness or logo of the Panda Brand; to request the logo, please email TracyW@AndersonArts.org. All entries must be primarily composed of tissue products, easily transportable, and suitable for gallery display. Winning entries will also be exhibited at First Quality, with artwork returned to students the following year.
We can’t wait to see what your students create this year! Supply pick starts Monday, July 28th at the Anderson Arts Center!
Please share with your art teacher friends.
