FIVE years of ART SLAM!

Art Slam returns with an exciting live art competition featuring up to 16 artists creating original work in real time. Each artist will receive a mystery box of supplies and two hours to create a one-of-a-kind, mixed-media artwork—right before your eyes.

What’s in the box?
Artists will start with SOME basic tools, but surprises will be added throughout the night to keep the creativity flowing. With limited time and unexpected materials, imagination is the only limit!

Grand Prize:

• a Solo exhibition at the Anderson County Main Library,

• Cash reward

• the Library will purchase one of your pieces for their permanent collection.

There will be multiple prizes, but only 1 Grand Prize winner!

While the competition unfolds, explore our artisan vendor market, where local makers will have handcrafted items available for purchase throughout the evening.
